Privacy statement
Last updated: 27 July 2026
The EVOS Collective, operating the EVOS 13 project, is responsible for the personal data described here. This statement covers the transmission list, privacy-friendly site analytics and physical book requests.
Transmission list
When you subscribe, we process your email address so we can send EVOS 13 marketing and project updates. We also record the date and page on which you consented, the form location, and any UTM campaign fields in the page URL. Consent records use a one-way email hash in our database; the email provider necessarily receives your email address to deliver messages.
We rely on your consent. The checkbox is never selected in advance, and your subscription only becomes active after you confirm the link sent to your inbox. We normally send no more than one transmission per month.
Unsubscribing and retention
Every welcome message and marketing transmission must provide a visible unsubscribe link. You can withdraw consent at any time. We then stop marketing messages and mark the contact as unsubscribed. A limited hashed consent and unsubscribe record may be retained for up to five years where needed to demonstrate compliance or prevent unwanted re-subscription.
Service providers and transfers
We use Resend to deliver and manage email, and contracted hosting and database providers to run the website and store consent records. These providers process data only to provide their services. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.
Analytics and campaign measurement
The website records limited events such as page views and newsletter form success or error states. We do not send your email address to analytics or advertising platforms. IP addresses used for abuse prevention and aggregate audience insight are converted to one-way hashes; short-lived newsletter rate-limit records are removed automatically.
With your optional marketing-cookie consent, we may use Meta Pixel to measure whether visits from Meta advertisements result in page views or confirmed interest. Meta may process the page URL, campaign parameters such as fbclid, browser and device information, IP address, and its own cookie identifiers. We never send your name, email address, password, form contents, confirmation tokens or discount code to Meta.
Meta Pixel is not loaded until you select “Accept cookies”. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. You can change or withdraw it at any time through “Cookie settings”; after withdrawal EVOS 13 stops sending new Meta events and removes its accessible Meta campaign cookies where possible.
Physical book requests
The current book flow opens an email request. The information you choose to include is used to answer the request, confirm shipping and arrange payment. It is not added to the transmission list unless you separately subscribe and confirm.
Your rights
Under applicable EU and Dutch privacy law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, object where applicable, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
